Three Amigos Safety Luncheon
JeT employees are “suckers for safety” and as such, on July 1st, they were rewarded with a luncheon celebrating the fact that there were no preventable accidents for three months straight. Enough food to fill a bus covered the tables at the East and Westbank maintenance facilities. There was a true family atmosphere as transit operators, maintenance personnel, management, and even the Transit Director enjoyed the delicious offerings including red beans and rice, fried chicken, spaghetti casserole, and an array of amazingly tantalizing side dishes and desserts prepared by JeT’s employees. Corporate executives, Ken Westbrook and Brittany Doten, from Veolia’s corporate office in Chicago were on hand to celebrate the event and to lend a hand in the cooking and serving.
| In case you're wondering why it's called the "Three Amigos" Safety Luncheon - each amigo represents a month of no preventable accidents, hence three months = three amigos! |
Keep up the great work, team!
